Guinea pigs are awesome, the sounds they make are so relaxing, like, when they burble as they wander around it's like they're talking to each other, or even just giggling to themselves
This was amazing to watch! Animals are so tuned into nature. Watching the bird signal the hawks and owls was eye opening! Never thought Cavies would understand those signals, like the chicken are accustomed to. I heard anecdotally, that keeping all black chickens fool hawks into thinking they are crows and they don't attack. If you attack a crow, as every hawk has learned the hard way, the entire crow community attacks you back. Thank you! Dank je!

Guinea pigs CAN be silly though! I own a piggy right now, ( yes i know that it's best to get multiple. But i give her lots of attention, so she's fine.) Her name's lilith! She can be funny or cute at times
This is awesome. Mom can take care of her babies on her own. Don't move them too far away. Mom won't be able to clean the baby before the next one comes out. That's what she's supposed to do. She keeps her baby in the corner to keep them safe from others.

I have to say I'm quite impressed with the relationship- if I let my dog and guinea pig meet, my guinea pig would already be fighting for dominance. AND WINNING @ & (super cute btw)

I always promote getting animals from shelters or good breeders. Your animals look very happy, at least there are some decent breeders out there! I will definitely be recommending you as I also live in the UK!
Oh my goodness, this is the most chatty I've seen a guinea pig during birth! I wanted to stroke her head when she first started because she was so distressed then the squeak every time a contraction hit made me start laughing. ) I'm glad everyone made it through ok!
When pigs let you hand feed them it's a sign of trust and love they have for you. They are prey animals and are always on alert for predators. Once you establish a bond with them they will always look to you to feed them. I think guinea pigs are some of the best pets you can have. I have 6 of them and I get unconditional love from each one of the little cuties.
